St. Joe's #14
Canisius #16
Class B
Timon #2
Allegany-Limestone #7

Lew-Port #15
Salamanca #21
Depew #25
Class C
Randolph #1
Holland #10
Class D
Panama #11
Westfield #14
According to the rankings...
- Jamestown returns to Glens Falls in back-to-back seasons for the first time in program history. No teams from Section V even cracked the 'already expanded to 30 teams' Class AA rankings. I say that because they always start out ranking 25 teams and magically expand the number of teams they rank at some point. Do we really need to rank 30 teams? The Top 25 just sounds better, but I know, less trophies for everyone if you only rank 25 teams. Hey, Falls got to see its name because of the early expansion, coming in at #26.
- Amherst also returns to Glens Falls. The Tigers open as the third highest ranked public school, coming in at #10 in the Class A rankings.
- Timon wins a CHSAA Class B state championship...f they stay below .500 in the MMA regular season and fall short of the Manhattan Cup Final. They are currently #2 in NYS Class B and below .500 in the MMA with a league mark of 0-1.
- Your Class B1 & Class B2 Finals on Championship Saturday will feature Salamanca taking on Allegany-Limestone for a third time this season, followed by Lew-Port vs. Depew.
- Allegany-Limestone plays for a NYSPHAA state championship in Class B. The Gators only have two public schools ranked ahead of them and both hail from Section II, so only one makes it to Glens Falls.
- Randolph wins a NYSPHAA state championship in Class C. The Cardinals open as the #1 ranked squad in NYS after falling short of the Section VI Class C Final in 2022. Someone in the state must have noticed that Randolph defeated Salamanca on Friday night -- fairly impressive, considering local pollsters in WNY collaborated on the first Buffalo News poll and the consensus was that Randolph win was a bunch of hooey. Salamanca is locally ranked ahead of Randolph by the Buff News poll, despite Friday's loss.
- Westfield's reign as Class D champions ends at the hands of Panama in March. The Wolverines open at #14 in Class D, three spots behind the Panthers at #11.

Just watched Niagara Falls beat St. Joes by 24! They may have the best Falls team since Harris and Flynn! They may be #1 by year’s end!!!
