1. St. Joe's (AA) - Emerged victorious in a Friday night slugfest with their rivals, snapping a 4-game skid in the series. The Marauders are Monsignor Martin Association league champions & the #1 seed in the Manhattan Cup Playoffs for the 1st time since 2021 when they won their last championship.
2. Canisius (AA) - Lost locally for just the 2nd time this season at St. Joe's on Friday night, after knocking off St. Francis earlier in the week. The major implication is being on the same side of Timon in the Manhattan Cup Playoff bracket. Both CHS & St. Joes are off until February 26th when the Manhattan Cup Semifinals are held.
3. Niagara Falls (AAA) - Picked up a game against Cardinal O’Hara this week after they were unable to participate in the 3 scheduled games last week.
4. Timon (AA) - Earned regular season sweeps over Cardinal O’Hara, St. Francis, & Nichols last week. The Tigers take a road trip to Jamestown on Monday afternoon and then await the winner of Park & St. Francis for a semifinal battle in the Manhattan Cup Playoffs.
5. Jamestown (AAA) - Double-digit victories over both Frontier and highly regarded Rush-Henrietta last week for the Red & Green, who have also locked up another ECIC I title. They’ll take on Timon in a first-to-score 80 affair on Monday afternoon and finish the regular season by hosting Clarence on Wednesday.
6. Lockport (AA1) - Business-like and highly efficient in a victory at Orchard Park on Monday night. The Lions needed that kind of performance, which they followed up with victories over North Tonawanda & Lew-Port. The regular season wraps up with another contest against Lew-Port.
7. Williamsville South (A1) - Earned a share of the ECIC II league title with a win at Hamburg, after letting the outright league crown slip out of their grasp earlier in the week when Starpoint knocked them off. The Billies host Cheektowaga in a nonleague game on Wednesday.
8. Orchard Park (AA1) - Rebounded with a victory at Williamsville North and another over Frontier, after losing at home to Lockport on Monday night. The Quakers, who have only lost to Jamestown & Lockport this season, finish off the regular season campaign with a rescheduled game against Grand Island on Monday afternoon.
9. Health Sciences (AA2) - Four victories for the Falcons last week against Yale Cup opponents by margins of 38, 52, 31, & 49 points.
10. Amherst (A1) - Wins over Hamburg and Sweet Home allowed the Tigers to grab a share of another league title in ECIC II. They will be begin warming up for sectionals with an afternoon affair against Lancaster this week.
Small Schools
1. Westfield (C) - Walloped Brocton in another shining performance from Carson Swanson that saw the senior score a game-high 39 points in the win. The team finishes the regular season at Sherman Monday night.
2. Randolph (C) - After earning a 5th straight undefeated league title in CCAA I East in a 66-49 win over Gowanda, the Cardinals flew north and put on a clinic in Hamburg, leaving with a 66–41 victory. They visit Allegany-Limestone on Thursday night.
3. Salamanca (B2) - Rolled past Cleveland Hill for a 2nd time this season after taking their first local loss of the 2025 season at home against Falconer. Trips to Dunkirk and Frontier round out the regular season.
4. Panama (D) - Three more victories for the Panthers, including a hard fought win over Falconer last week. If you’re looking for an opportunity to lay eyes on this squad, get to Cheektowaga on Tuesday evening.
5. Akron (B1) - Champions of the Niagara-Orleans league, closing down league play with wins at Newfane & at Barker. The Tigers host St. Mary’s on Monday evening.
6. Middle College (B1) - Double-digit victories for the Kats against MST & Buffalo Culinary, with rematches against both ahead this week, along with two more games against Olmsted & McKinley. Someone saved a lot of games for the last week of the regular season.
7. Holland (C) - The Dutchmen took down Global Concepts 61–49, the 4th straight victory for a team that hasn't lost since January. The regular season wraps up for Holland with a trip to Allegany-Limestone on Tuesday.
8. Eden (B2) - Now winners of 5 consecutive games after earning 3 more victories last week. The Raiders finish up the season with nonleague games at Silver Creek on Tuesday & then host Lakeshore Thursday night.
9. Olmsted (B1) - Earned a victory over East, while losing to Burgard and a renewed team from Starpoint, last week. The Owls take flight again on Tuesday against the Middle College.
10. MST (B2) - Fell to red-hot Middle College before coming back to claim victories against Buffalo Arts & South Park. The Wolves have a rematch this week with Middle College, along with a visit to Hutch Tech.
